Oceanwide Offshore Services appoints new Operations Manager

Oceanwide, the leading International Employment agency in the Maritime and Energy sectors has appointed Bart Schmits as Operations Manager for Oceanwide Offshore Services.

Schmits (42) has a broad working experience within the Oil & Gas industry, having previously worked for BP Amoco Group and ASC International. His latest position was as Business Manager at Worldwideworker, where he was responsible for the day to day Manpower Operations. He holds a BA degree in Economics.

The Energy industry is a key focus for Oceanwide in relation to its growth strategy for the near future. "I am delighted to have Bart on board in these exciting times for Oceanwide", Managing Director Justus Dalenoord stated. "His Manpower background, combined with his commercial, management and HR experience make him extremely valuable for Oceanwide Offshore Services.
