Impact Interim strengthens position on Belgian flexible staffing market

Acquisition of TOP Interim provides access to Brussels and Wallonia

Vlissingen, 22 January 2009

Impact Interim, part of Humares Group of the Netherlands, has acquired fellow flexible staffing organization TOP Interim. TOP Interim has four branches in Wallonia, one in Brussels and one in Flanders (in the town of Mortsel). The acquisition provides Impact Interim with nationwide coverage in Belgium, expanding its network to 15 branches with € 40 million in revenue and putting around 1,150 people to work every day.

Caroline Santermans, delegated director of Impact Interim, is pleased with the acquisition: "Impact Interim is an ambitious organization. In the past few years we have been achieving growth of over 20% and we wish to continue this trend. The acquisition of TOP Interim will give us a presence in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia and help us keep growing."

Growth potential

Alain Dehaze, CEO of the Humares Group, is also pleased with this move to strengthen the organization: "We want to make Belgium our second home market. The addition of TOP Interim to our portfolio means that the Belgian market will account for 30% of total revenue. And the growth potential for the long term is excellent. After all, the acquisition of TOP Interim gives Humares nationwide coverage in Belgium. That makes it a great addition to our organization."

International Distance Matching

Caroline Santermans also sees great growth potential for newly acquired TOP Interim. "The TOP Interim branches are currently completely focused on recruiting staff locally. Now they gain access to our International Distance Matching concept. That means they can use Humares Group's international recruitment offices to recruit staff for bottleneck jobs, enhancing their ability to meet their clients' needs."

Liliane Ceraulo, delegated director at TOP Interim: "TOP Interim is becoming part of a big player, both in Belgium and internationally. This means we can offer our clients service at a national level. The TOP Interim values are also part of the Humares philosophy. The Humares Group combines an efficient organization with a human touch. I am convinced that joining this group will provide us with great growth opportunities."

TOP Interim and Impact Interim will melt together into one single organization, with integration under a single brand name expected to take place in the second half of 2009.

TOP Interim has branches in Charleroi (2), Liège, La Louvière, Brussels and Mortsel, while Impact Interim is located in Boom, Geel, Genk, Ghent, Hasselt, Louvain, Merksem, Neerpelt and Zaventem.
