Humares and her operating companies have not sent Christmas cards by post in 2008. Instead, they have e-mailed a digital version to all their contacts. The money saved, € 5.750, will be donated to the foundation KiKa, which raises money for children with cancer.
CEO Alain Dehaze explains: "This action perfectly matches our aim to combine our commercial focus with our social responsibility. Moreover, we wanted to express our Christmas thoughts in a tangible way. We hope that our donation will contribute to banning child cancer in the future."
The Christmas cards sent are based on the drawing of a child. Therefore, it has a connection with children, the group KiKa helps. The Christmas cards were sent for all Humares brands and translated into Dutch, English, German and Polish.
