The Dutch Humares Group has appointed Belgian born Eric Dantinne as new top executive for all Belgium activities of the Humares group, Impact Interim, TOP Interim and Maintec Belgium. Mark De Smedt -already active as Director of Humares' subsidiary XPE Group, specializing in highly qualified international experts - has joined the Humares Executive Committee.
Eric Dantinne (41) was active as Executive Vice President of the Humares Maritime division. From today, he will also be responsible for the Belgium staffing activities of the Humares Group. This brings him back in his country of birth after a period in France (Commercial Director of Start People (former Creyf's) and an international assignment for Oceanwide - specialized in the recruitment of maritime personnel - from the Netherlands. He has also gained a good knowledge of the Belgium staffing market as Commercial Director of Creyf's and Start People Belgium.
Dantinne will take over the position of delegated director of Impact Interim from Caroline Santermans, who started Impact Interim 10 years ago and who will leave the company now. He will also be responsible for TOP Interim -mainly active in Wallonia and Brussels - and the Belgian activities of Maintec, one of the top technical staffing companies in the Netherlands. Eric Dantinne is happy with his new position: "Caroline Santermans, together with her team, has built a successful company, which gained a National coverage afther the acquisition of TOP Interim." Together with Maintec Belgium, these companies reach € 44 Million revenues in Belgium. We foresee a healthy growth in the years to come by further implementing our 'International Distance Matching' concept. In this concept, we use Humares Group's international recruitment offices to recruit staff for bottleneck jobs." Impact Interim, TOP Interim and Maintec Belgium place 150 international technical craftsmen every day, beside their 700 regular employees.
After studying Commercial and Financial Sciences in Liege, Dantinne first worked in commercial management positions in the banking industry (Gesbanque, Citibank Belgium). He subsequently gained extensive experience in the temporary placement and secondment sector from 2001. First as Commercial Director Belgium of Creyf's (later Start People Belgium) for 4.5 years, and most recently as commercial director of Start People France, where he managed 200 branches and a staff of 700.
Alain Dehaze -CEO Humares- is convinced to have the right man in Eric Dantinne: "First, Eric will integrate Maintec Belgium and TOP Interim - mainly active in Wallonia and Brussels - into the Flemish Impact interim organization. He is perfectly bilingual and has a broad management experience. He will be able to successfully lead this integration process. The international experience he gained at Oceanwide, will help him as well. he is very familiar with our ‘International Distance Matching' concept, the most important growth model of our Belgian operations. In this concept, we recruit foreign workers for Belgian clients and we guide them, making sure they will function optimal in Belgium."
Mark De Smedt (47) joins the Humares Executive Committee. Since September 2008, De Smedt. manages the XPE Group, the Humares subsidiary focused on the recruitment, selection, secondment and outsourcing of highly qualified international experts for vacancies in the pharmaceutical and engineering industries in the Benelux. Prior to this function, De Smedt has gained extensive experience in the staffing market as Adecco Managing Director Benelux and Executive Chairman of AG Johnsen. Maintec, the Humares Group subsidiary specialized in the national and international recruitment and placement of skilled technical personnel, has strengthened its position in Europe by opening two branches in Zlin and Kladno in the Czech Republic. The new branches increase Maintec’s ability to recruit technical personnel for Maintec in the Netherlands and for Maintec and Impact Interim in Belgium.
