Humares acquires remaining stake in Impact Interim

Growth ambition in Belgian temporary staffing market prompts Dutch group to buy remaining 25% stake; Humares strengthens financial and administrative organization

Vlissingen, 5 September 2008

Dutch staffing organization Humares Group, which held a 75% stake in Belgium's Impact Interim since 2007, has purchased the remaining 25% stake in the company. The acquisition provides Humares with more opportunities to strengthen the position of Impact Interim in Belgium, which Humares aims to make its second home market.

Alain Dehaze, the Belgian-born CEO of Humares with a vast knowledge of the Belgian staffing market due to his background as the former CEO of Solvus, is pleased to announce the purchase of the remaining shares: "Belgium currently accounts for 23% of our revenue and is as such already an important market for us. There is definitely a great deal of scope for us to grow in Belgium. The Belgian market is not as mature as the Dutch market and particularly our 'International Distance Matching' concept - aimed at recruiting specialized international staff for difficult-to-fill bottleneck positions in the Dutch and Belgian markets - provides us with many opportunities in Belgium."

Logical step

Caroline Santermans, co-founder and delegated executive with chief responsibility for Impact Interim, believes Humares will provide a great deal of added value to Impact Interim: "Since the start of our ties with Humares in 2007 we have been able to build on the good growth figures we achieved in the past. In doing so we were grateful to make use of the existing 'International Distance Matching' framework. The past few years have proved that we fit well in Humares, both from an ambition and cultural point of view. That is why I believe it is only logical for Humares to become the full owner. Humares is a financially sound company and that provides additional opportunities for Impact Interim to strengthen its position in the short term."

The structure of Impact Interim will remain fully in place in the new situation and Caroline Santermans will remain in charge. At the same time, the cooperation between Impact Interim and Humares' Dutch unit TiP personeelsdiensten will be intensified.

Financial and administrative organization

Humares has strengthened its financial and administrative organization in Belgium with the appointment of Koenraad de Meu as Financial & Administrative director for all Belgian activities, consisting of both Impact Interim and Maintec Belgium. De Meu has a wide range of experience in accountancy (including 7 years at Ernst & Young). In addition he gained experience in the staffing sector working as Accounting Manager for the Adecco Coordination Center. In his new role De Meu will further professionalize and optimize the administrative processes.
