Flexabel and Maintec focus on International Distance Matching with Wim Verlinden

New leader to manage further development of ‘International Distance Matching’ concept in Belgium

Temse/Vlissingen, 23 May 2008

Flexabel and Maintec Belgium, subsidiaries of the Dutch Humares Group, are expanding their 'International Distance Matching' concept in Belgium and have therewith appointed experienced Wim Verlinden as Director.

‘International Distance Matching'

One of the distinguishing factors of both companies is their so called ‘International Distance Matching' concept through which they employ international professionals. Not only recruitment and selection of personnel, but also accommodation, transportation and further guidance of employees are part of the offering.

Flexabel / Maintec

Flexabel and Maintec already specialise largely in this unique 'International Distance Matching' concept. They will further focus on the expansion of this concept in the technical employment sector in Belgium for projects where large groups of technical or constructional personnel in so called 'knelpuntberoepen', bottleneck positions (construction workers, welders, fitters/plumbers, metal workers) are needed.

Broad experience

Wim Verlinden has a broad experience in the Belgium interim market. He has fulfilled various positions within Vedior Interim in the past 10 years. CEO Alain Dehaze of Humares is delighted with Verlinden's appointment: "Wim has a very broad experience in the interim market. Especially his experience as Inhouse Manager and Manager ‘National Accounts' will bring important added value to our organisation. We will after all mainly focus on large projects, whereby inhouse could be an additional service.
Wim Verlinden is also very excited about his recent appointment: "I am now end responsible for the Belgian part of the technical operation, a major growth market for Humares. In addition I think it is a great challenge to further expand this unique ‘International Distance Matching' concept in Belgium. Currently there is a large shortage in Belgium of particularly technical personnel, while in other European countries qualified personnel is available. Maintec has fully owned recruitment offices in several countries. With this concept, proven successful in the Netherlands, we should also be capable of delivering an important contribution to the results of our customers in Belgium."
