Our customers are increasingly looking for highly skilled workers. We have been aware of the fact that local labor markets can no longer meet demand for this talent for some time.

Oceanwide has branches in 22 countries on four continents. Now, more than ever before, we are able to fulfill the requests of our clients both quickly and well thanks to our network of branches and intermediaries.

From matching to proactive introductions

Oceanwide’s role in the maritime labor market is changing. We are no longer just fulfilling the requests of our clients in a reactive way, but are introducing our qualified candidates to them more and more proactively. We are increasingly seen as a recruitment channel and that means that we have to be able to proactively adapt to the needs of our clients.

It all starts with training students and cadets, tomorrow’s high-flyers in our market. We do this by working together with maritime institutes in the various countries in which we operate.
