"Three names. one approach ... one objective ... Focusing on technical specialties!"

Humares has three brands in Belgium (Top Interim for Wallonia, and Impact Interim and Maintec/Maintec Construction for Flanders). These three brands follow the same approach and share the same objective: to become the specialist in technical staffing.

We use our maritime experience and network to provide the Belgian clients of Impact, Top and Maintec with one-stop solutions for bottleneck technical professions.

Market data are an important element that we must take into account in the strategic decisions we make. In order to benefit from the cyclical nature of the market Humares has three divisions that are fairly complementary: Belgium (which is early-cyclical), the Netherlands (late-cyclical), and maritime (not very cyclical). This ensures that all stages of the cycle are covered.

There is still a structural shortage of skilled technical workers in the Flemish labor market. The reason for this bottleneck has to do with both quality and quantity: on the one hand the influx of young graduates is failing to meet demand in the market, while on the other hand the labor available lacks the required skills. This is deterring the growth of numerous companies. Due to the expected ageing of the Belgian workforce, it appears that the future shows few signs of improvement.

International recruitment of technical workers

In view of the current state of the labor market, companies have to look further than the local and regional labor market. That means that recruiting candidates internationally has not only become a choice for our clients but also a necessity to ensure future growth. Further expansion of our international recruitment activities with their focus on cost control is essential.
